Mother Earth of all adventures as you travel back to explore our planet’s past,

your hands as we open your mind to the realities of climate change. This is a
great way to learn about Scotland’s formation and land that Dynamic Earth
inhabits. The exhibition is not a conventional science centre. The story that we
are telling is a guided story with a beginning, a middle and an end. There is
nothing else quite like it in Scotland.
Edinburgh Zoo is the largest and most exciting wildlife attraction in Scotland,
committed to the highest standards of animal welfare, conservation and
environmental education. In just one day, you can meet over 1,000 wonderful
animals! Some of the wonderful attractions include Rainbow Landings providing
our visitors with a chance to get up close and personal with our beautiful
rainbow lorikeet birds, and Budongo Trail allows visitors to visit our
chimpanzees in the world's most innovative, interactive chimpanzee enclosure.
Edinburgh Zoo is also home to the UK's only koalas in a wonderful Australian
themed exhibit; has the largest penguin pool in the world and a primate
education and research centre, Living Links.
At 112 metres long and holding a million gallons of water, the underwater tunnel
at Deep Sea World is one of the longest underwater tunnels in the world. The
largest shark it holds is the Sand Tiger which can grow up to three and a half
metres in length. Meet with the friendly local seals at feeding time, and learn
about the rescued seals brought to Deep Sea World to recover eventually to be
released back into the ocean. With a large range of exotic fish, reptiles &
amphibians you’ll find yourself and the family mesmerised for hours.
